New Undergraduate Course on Obesity: Causes, Consquences, Prevention & Treatment - HHP:3050:0001
With the support of the leadership of Health and Human Physiology (HHP) and CLAS, the OREI has cosponsored the introduction of a new 3 semester hour undergraduate course in Obesity: Causes, Consequences, Prevention & Treatment under the direction of Lucas Carr, Assistant Professor in HHP. The course will involve lectures by other faculty in the OREI from other colleges and disciplines.
New Health and Human Physiology Undergraduate Minor in Physical Activity and Nutrition Science
With involvement of the OREI and the leadership of HHP, CLAS has developed a new undergraduate minor in Physical Activity and Nutrition Science that includes the new course—Obesity: Causes, Consequences, Prevention & Treatment—as a required course. This minor is intended for students outside of HHP with an interest in this area.
